Twelve Hours to Eight

Maggots, rats, worms,
Of everything that squirms,
You must truly have some purpose, with your homes where dead men lie,
Alive in such perpetual night,
Among the old decaying might,
Thus haunting death instead of haunting life.

Maggots, worms, rats,
Come! Climb out from your vats,
There must truly be some reason, when your food is old and rot,
Swarm the streets when day arrives,
Come and feast where human thrives,
Thus making death instead of naught.
Bring the bones and bring decay,
Stab the night into the day!
Bring the coffins and the graves,
Bring the lifeless, void of pain,
Bring the death,
and bring the dark,
and bring the crypt.

I'm still feeling alot like I did yesterday, I slept until about 3 oclock this morning, a full 12 hours, but tomorrow I have to wake up at 10:30 to go to laser tag, I figure that I shouldn't pass it up for any amount of sleep. After that I'll be homeworking, hoping to meet some of my own personal dates, but I'll likely fail. After a few shows I feel I should watch it will then be time to either do more homework frantically or take a brief and fruitless moment of relaxation before bringing the weekend to a rest. As for tonight I don't have much time left. More of reflection to last year: the break then and now doesn't feel so much as an anticipated period of rest as it seems like a great crevice of time that I must prepare to leap over, its imposing and I'd rather not think about it.

To describe some events of my life that I do not find interesting but I suppose others might, I spent alot of my day playing my new nintendo ds (its very cool, as if you would expect me to say anything else) and I played scrabble with my mom, uncle, and one of their freinds who I've known for quite a long time now, I placed second. In terms of the ds I don't think I have to post my own extensive review of Mario Kart ds, I could provide several links to very similar and proffessional reviews if anyone wants. I didn't do any homework which is why I might have such a tough day tomorrow, I have to work on my english isp movie treatment (extra hard since something told me I had a library period on monday and it was wrong) and I'd really like to reach the so-called target date on my history isp essay, but I doubt I'll manage that. I should also look at my science notes in preparation for the next test, but not too long, I don't want the disaster that occurred last time. As I said I woke up at 3 oclock, the reason I'm writing this so late at night is because it took this long for anything to happen.

Feeling the crunch of time more and more, I think maybe I'm not up to this task, of living in general. I just don't have enough time to really live this life as I'm supposed to it would seem,I have so little to do but not enough time, and as someone aptly pointed out I never laugh. Perhaps my soul isn't alive as it should be, dreamlessly sleeping for over half a day, unless pulled up by one of its living half's annoyances. Or perhaps even I shouldn't be prone to such a grim assessment, I have to get some sleep, part of me has a decent-sized day tomorrow.

Oh John. If I could only write poems. -___-

What's with people sleeping so much? Lizzie slept for 17 hours once and the most I've gotten this year is like, 10. :/ I can't wait to sleep during the holidays; yes, I'm looking forward to sleep! :D

Procrastination! I have not started either my history essay, movie treatment nor studying for science. Hee. Oh well. The movie treatment it very short anyway! And um, you don't HAVE to hand your essay in next week, unless you want to. Your science test last time wasn't a disaster. WTF? Sometimes you do well; sometimes you don't. If you always do well, you always do well. You shouldn't feel badly when you do do well and the times that you don't. Seriously. Have confidence in your abilities!

Eh. Life can be 'bah' sometimes. It really can. BUT! You can go to laser tag tomorrow. I'm envious; I've always wanted to go there. Instead, a trip to the dentist is basically the highlight of my day. :/
